Carnival in £5,000 giveaway

FAILSWORTH Carnival royalty came together for a night of presentations, singing and dancing.
Members of the carnival committee handed out a total of £5,000 to 48 local groups who applied for grants throughout the year.
Local singers Michelle and Lucy provided the entertainment at the Libby Centre in Oldham Road. Guests included the Mayor, Mayoress and Youth Mayor.
