The Mukhtar brothers at the British Curry Awards
LOCAL restaurant Indish has further enhanced its growing reputation for top-quality cuisine by making the short-list in the Newcomer of the Year category at the British Curry Awards.
The Mukhtar brothers, who opened the Broadway establishment with a stunning redesign of industrial premises seven months ago, are pictured with their certificate at the awards, held at Battersea Evolution Centre, London.
The brothers said they were delighted to receive nominations from customers and pleased with the way Indish has been received by locals and visitors alike.
Being short-listed also got Indish into the curry awards’ top 100 restaurants nationwide.
Guests at the star-studded event included Conservative leader David Cameron MP, and TV personalities Sir Trevor McDonald and Chris Tarrant.
