Lees gears up for Christmas

LEES folk can enjoy a brass band, Santa’s grotto and mince pies when the village’s Christmas lights are switched on.
Oldham (Lees) Youth Band will entertain the crowds on Saturday, December 5 (4pm), at the corner of High Street and Mellor Street.
Father Christmas will take up residence in the library in Thomas Street. Entries into a reindeer colouring competition will be on display in the library.
There will also be a Christmas lights competition for shops and businesses with the winner announced on December 19 following festive singalong with Oldham (Lees) Band at the library from 10am.
