CHADDERTON’S new £17 million Wellbeing Centre opens on Monday with stunning new facilities aplenty.
The new Henry Taylor 25m pool, which replaces the old baths has the added attraction of a poolside sauna and state-of-the-art changing rooms.
There is a 50-station gym with 16 resistance and 34 cardio-vascular machines.
The fitness studio is set to host a wide variety of classes and there are also three community rooms for hire.
Steve Eyre, marketing and promotional manager for Oldham Community Leisure, said: “There was a real air of excitement surrounding the opening and we are delighted with the facilities available.”
Those wanting to have a look around the centre can take it all in during an open weekend (December 5 and 6) when it will be open 7.30am-7.30pm both days for viewings.
