Lighting up Chadderton
Date published: 26 November 2009
CHADDERTON’S Christmas lights switch-on will get the royal treatment thanks to two young competition winners.
The fun starts in the precinct with a festive market packed with food, cards and gifts from noon on Friday.
The lights will be switched on by the Prince and Princess of Chadderton — winners of a competition held at local primary schools — at 6pm. There will also be an ice rink, fairground rides and a visit from Father Christmas.
