Young to have a say in poll
Date published: 26 November 2009
Regional minister Phil Woolas is urging local young people to take part in a survey to help shape the future of the North-West.
The 50-question poll aims to get 5,000 14 to 19-year-olds involved with issues which affect them.
The MP for Oldham East and Saddleworth said: “It’s vital that young people have a say in the issues that shape their lives. I urge all young people to take part in the survey over the next few months and look forward to hearing their ideas.”
The Young Citizens’ Say Survey is available online at www.ycaa.org.uk and paper copies can be ordered by contacting the Institute for Citizenship on 0161-602 3651.
The survey closes on December 18.
