Two clever poster designers were rewarded with a trip to the Mayor’s parlour for helping police with their Christmas safety campaign.
Ellie McGuirk, from Holy Cross CE Primary School in Oldham and Rosie Paige, from Greenacres Primary are pictured with their colourful creations for the “Don’t Ruin Our Christmas” campaign being run by Oldham East Neighbourhood police.
The competition, which was backed by prizes from Tesco at Hill Stores, was for local schoolchildren and the winning drawings will now be made into full-size posters for shops and community centres.
