ENGLAND and St Helens rugby league star Kyle Eastmond returns to his home town on Saturday when he makes a guest appearance at Brownz Wine Bar.
The talented half-back, who went to The Radclyffe School in Chadderton, will re-open the Yorkshire Street bar — eight months after it closed following trouble which flared in the street outside.
Eastmond’s brother, Winston, runs the venue with his partner Nichola Collins.
The re-opening will fuel the pair’s dream of a smart wine bar for the over-25s in Oldham.
Brownz offers a refreshing change to Oldham’s nightscene, with a VIP lounge and its own signature champagne cocktail, the Frais Royal.
Winston said: “Brownz is a luxurious late-night bar for the more mature individual, where they can enjoy a drink in relaxing ambience.”
With a smart dress- code and members policy, the pair say it will bring “a touch of style and class” to the town centre weekend scene, and promise a wide range of music to suit all tastes. Visitors on Saturday will get a complimentary champagne cocktail.
