Visitors of all ages enjoyed the seasonal music and merriment on offer at Santa’s Festive Village in Oldham town centre.
Barry McQueen, town crier for Blackpool, was special guest this weekend and Billy Bedlam’s Santa Band entertained the crowds.
Youngsters enjoyed face painting as well as a quick spin around the ice rink.
Shoppers browsed the 21 enchanting market stalls selling all manner of winter warmers from Caribbean foods to traditional hot chestnuts.
The ice rink costs £1 for 20 minutes, 10.30am to 3.30pm, and the village will stay open until Sunday.
