Animals to lap up Christmas
Date published: 10 December 2009
ANIMAL lovers can help their pets get in the festive mood with a carol concert for all creatures great and small on Saturday.
This popular outdoor service will be led by the Vicar of Friezland, Reverend Kenneth Tibbo and will feature readings from Councillors Howard Sykes and John McCann.
Councillor McCann said: “All animals are invited to attend — big or small — but with their owners please. Hopefully it will be a clear and dry winter day which everyone will enjoy.”
The service starts at 11.15am at Friezland Arena, off Manchester Road.
A small admission charge will be made and mulled wine and mince pies will follow the service.
All animals must be under close control and comfortable in the company of other animals.
