WORKMEN go to great heights to clear the worst of the overgrown ivy
CROMPTON cemetery chapel has been freed from its ivy prison allowing visitors to see the beautiful brickwork once again.
Thick ivy had been growing on the spire for years covering windows and blocking out the light.
But thanks to Abbey Hills-based company Mad About Trees, the chapel’s spire is back to its best.
