A TEENAGER suffered serious facial injuries when a fight broke out in an Oldham bar.
The 19-year-old victim was in Aruba, in Fairbottom Street, on Thursday, December 3, when he was assaulted.
He was hit in the face and suffered a fractured jaw and severe swelling. He also lost several teeth.
A taxi driver took the victim to the Royal Oldham Hospital before dropping him off at his home in Mossley.
Det Con Kate Dawson, of Oldham CID, said: “The bar would have been extremely busy and I would urge anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
“The injured man lost a lot of blood and I am certain if you saw him you will not have forgotten.
“I am also eager to trace the taxi driver who picked the victim up before dropping him off in the Mossley area.”
Anyone with information is asked to call Oldham CID on 0161-856 8951, or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800-555 111.
