WITH only three shopping days left until Christmas, bargain hunters are filling their boots in Oldham town centre.

Shoppers hit the high street over the weekend with more set to follow in the run up to the big day on Friday.

Despite the gloomy economy, there seemed to be no shortage of seasonal cheer in Oldham as crowds took home bags of gifts and goodies for friends and loved ones.
