ART lovers across the borough have voted for their favourite Oldham Open artist.
The biannual exhibition, which ran from September to November at Gallery Oldham, showcased work from artists currently living and working in the borough. A variety of pieces were displayed in a range of media including drawing, painting, photography and ceramics. Visitors selected artist Tracey Walsall as winner of The People’s Prize. She was awarded £100 worth of vouchers for art materials from Kate Hancock, from Oldham Arts and Craft Centre, who donated the prize.
