Tribute to crash victim

The family of an Oldham man who died following a collision on the M60 near Sale has paid tribute to him.
Denis Livesley (60), a recovery driver who was tending to another car involved in an earlier collision, was taken to hospital with serious injuries but later died.
His family said: “Denis was a loving husband, son, father, brother and grandfather. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.”
Police called to junction 6 of the motorway following reports of a collision on Monday morning, discovered a car had hit a man.
A joint investigation by Greater Manchester Police and the Health and Safety Executive has been launched. Anyone with information about the accident is asked to call traffic police on 0161-856 8473.
