Little angels bring Christmas story to life

THESE little angels brought the Christmas story to life as they put their all into performing a nativity play.
Heyside Pre-school has been performing the traditional nativity every year since it opened in 1966 and this year’s effort was another Christmas cracker that delighted parents.
Manager Julie Swaby said: “It was fantastic. The children were brilliant and they sang their little hearts out. They loved performing. The parents enjoyed it and they joined in with the singing.”
The pre-school, which looks after children aged two to four, is run by a voluntary committee, — mostly parents — and operates from rooms within St Mark’s Church Hall where children have access to an enclosed outdoor play area.
