YOUNG artists held a special exhibition of their work which was attended by a whole host of dignitaries.
Paintings, pictures and projects were on display by members of the ACE (Arts and Craft Experience) weekly art club.
Oldham Mayor, Councillor Jim McArdle; Mayoress, Councillor Kay Knox; and Youth Mayor, Mohammed Adil, took a tour of the exciting exhibition. Up to 40 children aged six to 13 attend the club which works in partnership with Oldham Libraries and is supported by Barnardo’s and Hollinwood Children’s Centre.
Clare Jones, family engagement worker at the centre, said the children were over the moon with their special guests and thanked them for attending.
She added: “Our exhibition was held to highlight the amazing work all the children within the community have created and to encourage further pride, confidence and enthusiasm for the community.”
