Crown court date for former treasurer

THE former treasurer of Waterhead Rugby League Club will face crown court later this month over charges including fraud and theft.
Tim Kinder faces eight charges, all relating to the rugby club and in the region of £10,000 in total.
He has been charged with theft to the value of £6,907.15p, two counts of fraud including stealing money to the value of £1,700, and three charges of false accounting.
He also faces one charge of obtaining a money transfer by deception to the value of £1,200, and another of obtaining a pecuniary advantage by deception.
The trial will be held at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court on January 25.
