Car firefighters go on foot
Date published: 06 January 2010
A FIRE engine was unable to reach a blazing car in Moordale Avenue, Waterhead, last night.
The crew was forced leave their vehicle at the bottom of a hill and walk to the incident, which was caused by an electrical fault in the Citroen C4. They also had to search in the show to find a fire hydrant and crew commander Gary Park said: “What was a normal car fire took twice as long sue to the weather conditions.”
