Bargains from Bulky Bob

CUSTOMERS join councillors and Bulky Bob’s staff at Saturday’s sale.
OLDHAMERS bagged some bargains at a one-off sale at a Glodwick church.
Visitors were able to browse tables, chairs, sideboards and sofas as well as finding out more about Bulky Bob’s.
The sale is the first of its kind in the area, and is expected to be repeated in the future.
Oldham Council teamed up with Bulky Bob’s to host the event — funded by the East Oldham District Partnership — at St Mark’s Church.
The council-run service, which gives job opportunities to the long-term unemployed, collects large items from homes and recycles or re-uses them.
