Have a say on Chadderton issues
Date published: 29 January 2010
PEOPLE can have their say on Chadderton issues at three ward forum meetings.
They will be able to speak to their councillors, local police, council officers and other organisations at the latest round of Partners and Communities Together (PACT) meetings next month.
The Chadderton Central meeting takes place at Kingfisher School, Foxdenton Lane, at 7pm on Monday, February 8.
This is followed by the Chadderton North meeting at Chadderton Wellbeing Centre, Burnley Street, on February 16, and the Chadderton South meeting on, February 17, at Washbrook Communal Room, Nelson Way, both at 7pm.
Councillor Rod Blyth, cabinet member for people and communities, said: “These meetings are part of Oldham Council’s commitment to getting local people involved in making decisions, getting issues dealt with that are important to them and also having a say in how significant budgets are invested where they live.”
There is no need to submit questions prior to the meetings, but people who do so may get a more detailed response.
