THAI boxing world champion Rachael Mackenzie paid a visit to Failsworth School to help sports leaders develop their skills.
The school hosted the Greater Manchester TOP Link Conference — a day of activities designed to help sports teachers from across the region hone their leadership skills.
The teachers were joined by students from schools across Oldham who took part in a range of sporting activities.
Rachael topped the women’s Thai boxing world rankings in two weight categories just six years after she started training. She was the first European woman to compete in a traditional bare knuckle boxing match in Thailand and the first woman to fight under the Muay Thai rules in the UK.
