STARS from Channel Four soap “Hollyoaks” swapped Chester for Chadderton as they donned their football boots for a charity match.
Oldham Sunday League team Northside AFC challenged cast members to a game at their Broadway stadium to raise money for Francis House Children’s Hospice and their own junior football teams.
Hundreds of spectators cheered on the two teams but there could only be one winner and it was Northside that eventually clinched a 3-1 victory.
A half time raffle, with prizes including a signed Manchester United shirt and football, helped contribute to a total of £3,000 raised with money still coming in.
