Thugs steal bikes from youngsters

A PAIR of 13-year-old boys were threatened with a metal dog lead before having their BMX bikes stolen in Hollinwood.
The victims were approached by a group of around nine boys in the skate park on Hollins Road at 3pm on January 31.
The offenders were aged between 17 and 19, and wore scarves to cover their faces.
PC Andrew Davies said: “We would like to appeal to anyone who saw this incident to let us know. Maybe you saw the group riding their bikes around the area at the time of the attack.
“If you think you know anything that could help, we would like to hear from you.”
