Shaw revs up for car rally

VEHICLE rally enthusiasts will be gearing up for an event taking place during Shaw’s family weekend in the summer.
Shaw and Crompton Parish Council’s classic vehicle rally hits the road on Sunday, June 27.
It will start at noon and cover seven miles, with judging taking place after all the vehicles have completed the route and awards presented during the afternoon.
There are nine categories, ranging from motorcycles to military vehicles and heavy commercials over 18 tonnes.
A charity market will take place in the morning with stalls available for voluntary and charitable organisations.
