A MAN could be scarred for life after he was glassed in the face in an unprovoked attack in Chadderton.
The 21-year-old was slashed as he walked through a group of six teenagers outside the post office on Owler Lane, off Broadway, in south Chadderton, at around 5pm on February 4.
One of the gang kicked him and another smashed a pint glass in his face. His facial injures needed eight stitches.
Detective Constable Samantha Warrener appealed for help tracing the attackers who were aged between 17 and 19 and wearing tracksuits.
She said: “There is absolutely no motive for this attack. We will not accept this kind of incident.
“We are now appealing for the public’s help to identify these men so we can bring them to justice.”
Anyone with information should contact Oldham CID on 0161-856 8951 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
