DRIVERS in Failsworth are facing diversions as work to bring the Metrolink to Oldham continues.
Only pedestrians and cyclists can now make their way under the railway bridge in Hardman Laned.
Work is underway to transform the former Dean Lane train station in preparation for the new Metrolink line from Manchester Victoria to Rochdale via Oldham.
Trams are expected to begin running to Oldham Mumps in autumn 2011, and to Rochdale in spring 2012.
