Duo are keen to progress
CHANGES to the top of Oldham Police are continuing with two new superintendents.
Alan Greene has joined the division as Superintendent of Operations to replace Steve Nibloe who has transferred to the traffic section.
Catherine Hankinson has started as the new Superintendent of Partnerships and Criminal Justice, taking over from Stuart Goodwin.
The moves follow Chief Supt Tim Forber taking over from Caroline Ball as Oldham’s top cop.
Supt Greene will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the division, including 24/7 response to emergency and non-emergency calls, demand management and crime investigations across Oldham.
Supt Hankinson’s main priorities will be building on the good work of the division’s Neighbourhood Policing Teams and managing the criminal justice process.
Supt Greene said: “The division has achieved some significant crime reductions in recent months in areas such as burglary and vehicle crime and I am keen to work with officers here to help them build further on these successes.” .”
Supt Hankinson said: “I am committed to continuing the great work already being done in the borough.”
