Centre cost tots up to £228,000

Alterations costing £184,000 will be carried out at Higher Failsworth Primary School to create a new Children’s Centre.
Furniture and equipment plus planning and consultants’ fees will boost the final total to £228,000.
The centre is the latest to be funded by the Government’s Sure Start Grant, which is providing access to a children’s centre in every ward in Oldham.
The aim is to give the under fives the best start in life with access to health, education, job services and child care advice all under one roof.
