BUDDING chefs turned up the heat at Radclyffe School as they chopped, baked and stir-fried their way to competition success.
The school entered the Rotary Club Young Chef contest and pupils cooked up their best dishes in a bid to be selected for the next round.
Judge Tom Harrop, owner of The Old Original in Scouthead, sampled all the entries and chose Haleama Kershaw as the winner.
Haleama, along with runner-up Aisha Waheed, will now go on to the next stage where they will compete against young chefs from other schools in Greater Manchester.
