DOES your heart good: Trevor McEwan, club treasurer Thomas Jeffrey, John Brown, from the foundation, and Margaret McEwan reveal the amount raised.
FUNDRAISERS who held a charity concert for the British Heart Foundation have handed over a cheque for £2,323.
The event, held at the Failsworth Home Guard Club, Poplar Street, was organised by Failsworth business man and singer Trevor McEwan, helped by his mother, Margaret McEwan, a BHF volunteer, as well as other family and friends.
The pair started fund-raising following the death of Margaret’s husband, David, in 2007 from a heart attack.
