THIS is the man police are hunting after he stalked a teenager and threatened him into handing over his mobile telephone.
He followed his 14-year-old victim on to the 184 bus in Lees town centre on January 20, and continued to follow him as he got off at around 8.45pm in Lees Road at its junction with Glodwick Road.
The boy walked down Cross Street, crossed Huddersfield Road and on to Shaw Road, still being followed by the man, who was aged 25-30,
He then confronted his victim, and demanded his mobile phone. The boy refused, but dropped the phone on the ground after he was physically threatened.
The thief, who was white, 6ft tall and skinny, picked up the black Samsung Tocco and ran off. Police issued this picture, captured on CCTV cameras, of the man they are seeking.
He has stubble and a couple of spots on his face and wore a grey and black jacket and grey trainers. Anyone with any information should contact police on 0161-872 5050 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800-555 111.
