Latics help our heroes

OLDHAM Athletic has joined forces with football clubs across the country to raise funds for members of the armed forces.
All 72 Football League clubs have united for a week of action to raise awareness of Help for Heroes, the football league’s official charity for 2010.
Latics will play its part in the campaign — which runs until Sunday — at the home clash with Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday.
A pipe and drum band will take to the pitch at half time, players will also sign a ball for auction and walk out under a guard of honour before the match.
Volunteers will collect money outside the ground before the game and members of the armed forces can watch the match for free by taking their ID to the ticket office before Saturday.
