BUDDING stage stars can take the first steps to fame with auditions for Oldham Theatre Workshop shows.
The award-winning drama and youth theatre organisation is holding auditions for young actors and singers for two summer shows.
It is looking to cast a number of roles in their major productions “Shades of Grey” and “Hansel and Gretel: The Wish”.
The workshop has helped launch the careers of many stars, including Anna Friel, Anne Kirkbride, Kelvin Fletcher, Suranne Jones and Suzanne Shaw.
Auditions for “Shades of Grey” for 13 to 25-year-olds take place on Saturday and Sunday at The Museum, Greaves Street, Oldham.
Auditions for performers aged 8 to 12 years for “Hansel and Gretel” take place on March 30 and 31.
Anyone interested in either of these opportunities to perform with Oldham’s rising stars should call 0161-770 3240 to arrange an audition and receive more information.
