THE victim of a vicious assault has offered a reward if two witnesses come forward with evidence.
As revealed by the Evening Chronicle yesterday, Zafar Ali Khan (26) suffered a broken arm and both he and father-in-law Sikander Khan (50) were left badly bruised after being attacked by up to six white youths in a racist attack in Hollins Road.
Two girls walking by stopped the attack, which took place close to the Limeline Private Hire firm at 9pm on February 28, and Sikander has appealed for them to come forward.
His daughter said: “He wants to give them £50 each if they come forward to be a witness as they might know who these people are.”
Police have appealed for witnesses or anyone with information to call them on 0161-872 5050.
