Chaddy wins, ciggies gasp, foregone conclusion...

LATICS mascot Chaddy the Owl challenged two cigarettes to a race to highlight the dangers of smoking.

The trio took to the Boundary Park pitch at half-time during Latics’ home clash with Wycombe Wanderers. The race was part of No Smoking Day which was organised by NHS Oldham to encourage people to quit the habit.

Chaddy sailed over the finish line while the two cigarettes began gasping for breath at the first hurdle.
