MANCHESTER City star Vincent Kompany swapped the Premier League for a tour of Oldham’s new £17million radiotherapy centre.
The facility — run by Manchester’s famous cancer hospital, The Christie — officially opened today at the Royal Oldham.
It will mean that tens of thousands of patients no longer have to make the difficult journey to Withington for treatment each year.
