MAKING merry music . . . Tudor Day.
THE Tudors were on the timetable for these time-travelling pupils.
The nine and 10-year-olds from East Crompton St James’s primary, Shaw, wore traditional costumes to find out more about the period which marked the end of the middle ages.
A team from Ordsall Hall, Salford, stepped into the shoes of the Radclyffe family who lived at the Tudor manor house.
They introduced pupils to archery, games, dancing and artefacts from the era which spanned Henry VII to Elizabeth I.
