Cattery open for business
Date published: 18 March 2010
A Chronicle story on March 3, “Three escape as fierce blaze rips through farmhouse” reported a serious fire at Bardsley Fold Farm.
The storysaid the farmhouse was badly damaged and that the farm runs a cattery and stables.
We have been asked to point out that the cattery business — Bardsley Fold Cattery — is run completely separately from the farm and was not affected by the fire.
Owner Sherrie Clarke said, “Our buildings are over 100 yards from the farmhouse, were not damaged, and the cattery is open for business as usual.”
