TEACHING and the Lifelong Learning sector were the topic of an education conference at University Campus Oldham.
Up for discussion were developments in teacher education for the Lifelong Learning sector, as well as implications for new trainee teachers entering the profession.
Keynote speaker was Professor Phil Hodkinson, emeritus professor of Lifelong Learning at the University of Leeds, who spoke about better teaching and better student learning.
During the day-long conference, key researchers took part in a panel discussion, and a series of workshops were held for visitors to discuss current themes.
