Buffs will be chuffed!

THREE steam locomotives hauling special trains are scheduled through Greenfield and Diggle tomorrow.

Two of the engines — the Britannia Class Oliver Cromwell and Royal Scot Class Scots Guardsman — will be double-heading a train from Lancaster to York which will pass through Greenfield at 11.05am and Diggle three minutes later.

Later, the streamlined Gresley A4 Bittern will stop in the loop at Diggle from 4.12pm to 4.22pm.
