Cannabis farms busted

POLICE have discovered two cannabis farms in the space of three days in Oldham.
The first farm with about 70 plants was discovered on Monday in a third floor flat in Wimpenny House, Eldon Street, Oldham.
The second farm with nearly 500 cannabis plants was discovered on Wednesday after the Oldham West neighbourhood priority team executed a warrant at an address at the junction of Chadderton Way and Norman Street, Coldhurst. Minh Hoang (27), of Chadderton Way, Coldhurst, has been charged with production of a Class B drug.
