Bookies raid terror

A POLICE hunt is under way to snare a robber who told a terrified cashier he had a gun.
He then ordered the woman to fill a plastic bag with cash before fleeing with some money.

Police are treating the incident, which took place at Coral bookmakers in Oldham Road, Failsworth, as robbery, rather than armed robbery as no firearm was evident during the raid.

No-one was injured and the man fled with some cash.

The drama unfolded at 9.40am on Monday.
