MODEL pose . . . Sarah in typical glamour pose
Phwoar Sarah soars in charity stunt!
A GLAMOUR model from Oldham braved her fears in a superhero stunt for charity.
Sarah Longbottom (22) soared across Salford Quays on a zip wire from the top of Manchester’s Imperial War Museum dressed as Batwoman to raise money for Cash for Kids.
The Failsworth stunner defied a fear of heights to set off from 200ft high and sailed 800ft across the water.
Sarah, a Playboy and Page 3 model, has previously raised over £60,000 for various charities with stunts and events and has been praised by charity chiefs for her efforts. She is now due to launch her own charity foundation.
Cash for Kids helps disadvantaged children across Greater Manchester, and has so far collected £13,000. The zip wire effort has now added another £1,000 to the total.
Sarah said: “I’m terrified of heights so I was buzzing, but it was for a good cause. It was so good I wanted to do it again afterwards.
“I want to thank everyone who sponsored me. I will continue to raise money for Cash for Kids.” Sarah’s charity efforts include helping organise a topless march through Manchester in support of British troops fighting abroad.
A dozen glamour girls, wearing only tight leather trousers and camouflage body paint, paraded through the city inviting crowds of onlookers to drop spare change into plastic buckets to raise cash for Support Our Soldiers, a charity set up for members of the Armed Forces and their families and to get servicemen better equipment.
