FIGHTING crime is neigh problem for GMP’s newest recruit.
Warwick and his new partner, PC Cheryl Williams, have become the latest members of the force’s mounted unit.
Eight-year-old Warwick, who stands 17 hands tall, is the only skewbald horse in the unit.
Insp Jon Hornby, of GMP’s mounted unit, said: “Warwick is a really identifiable horse when he is on patrol as he has such distinctive markings. He is a natural police horse with a confident and calm outlook on life.”
