GOOD grip . . . Keaton Wright (6) shows determination as he tackles the climb
PLUCKY youngsters from 12th Shaw Scout Group showed a head for heights to raise money for charity.
Beavers (aged six to eight) and cubs (eight to 10) took part in a climbing challenge for Sports Relief.
Beaver leader Louise Ellidge said: “With the help of the District Scouting Climbing Crew they all climbed at least twice.
“They had great fun learning a new skill while raising money for a good cause. Parents, however, all looked on nervously!”
The youngsters meet at St Joseph’s School (Cubs) and St Joseph’s Parish Centre (Beavers) on Monday nights between 6.15 and 7.30pm.
There are vacancies in the cub pack and anyone interested in joining can call group scout leader, Liz Dean on 07947-312 484.
