OLDHAMERS can record their messages of sympathy for those killed in the Polish air crash.
Two books of condolences have been opened in the Civic Centre’s Civic Entrance and in the centre’s Access Oldham.
All are invited to sign the books especially those residents with significant links to Poland.
The books will be open until 5pm on Monday and will then be sent to the Polish Consulate in Manchester.
Councillor Howard Sykes, council leader, said: “This tragedy has shocked many people in Oldham including members of our strong Polish community, which numbers in the hundreds.
“Our thoughts are with the families of all those who died in this terrible disaster and we send our deepest sympathies to the local Polish community, and to the nation of Poland.”
