Burglar on the missing list
Date published: 16 April 2010
A CONVICTED burglar is wanted by police after he breached his licence conditions.
Lee Makin (25), from Wigan, was sentenced to three years in jail by Liverpool Crown Court in June, 2008, after burgling a house in Leigh in February that year.
He was released in January, 2010, and the conditions of his licence stated he must live at an address in Oldham.
He failed to return to there last month.
Makin is aged 26, about 5ft 6in tall, of slim build with brown hair and blue eyes. He has a one inch scar on his lip and tattoos of dots, lines and the letters D C on his left arm.
PC Matthew Higham at Wigan police, said: “We have been working hard to find Lee during the last month and been paying regular visits to the places he is known.
“Lee can be assured that we will find him so it is better that he starts serving out the rest of his prison sentence sooner rather than later.”
Anyone with information is asked to call police in Wigan on 0161-856 7129 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
