Date published: 16 April 2010
A WOMAN was hauled out of her Nissan Micra by a thug in Royton in a terrifying carjacking incident.
The man yelled at her to get out of the vehicle, parked in Heyside, at 1.55pm on Wednesday, before grabbing her by the jacket and dragging her out.
He stole her handbag containing the car keys and then sped off. The woman was left shaken but unhurt.
The car was found abandoned less than 30 minutes later in near-by Holden Fold Lane.
