Lawyers hand over will fees to hospice

CHARITY bosses are appealing to Oldhamers to give them a thought when it comes to making a will.
Dr Kershaw’s Hospice has struck a deal with a local solicitors to set up a “Make a Will Week.”
The lawyers are offering their services at reduced rates from May 10-14, with all or a percentage of the fee being donated to the hospice.
To take advantage of the offer and support the hospice, contact any of the participating solicitors between those dates.
They are: We Solicitors (0870 165 9413), contact Jo-Ann Mason, £55; Wrigley Claydon (0161 624 6811), contact Rachel Damianou, minimum donation £50; North Ainley Halliwell (0161 624 5614), contact Rebecca Milburn, donation of your choice; Norcross, Lees & Riches (0161 624 6034), contact Vivien Hartley, £55. All fees from the above will be donated to Dr Kershaw’s. Half of the £50 fee from Cuttle & Co (0161-678 7443), contact Jill Scarf, will go to the hospice.
Appointments do not need to be attended during Make a Will Week, but must be booked during that time.
